Phil is a founding member of SCMMC which was established in 1981. Phils main interests in modelling are military, sci-fi and fantasy. No matter the model phil aims to dipict a scene from history so people can see a story when looking at his models. Phils has been modelling from the age of 9 years as was the craze in this generation favouring the classic air-fix kits. He first joined a modelling club in 1979 in Northwich. One of his favourite events was the northern militaire held annually in Manchester, along with fellow member Mike Shaw they attended this show frequently having being awarded many accolades for their models. When this show finished they decided to keep the hobby going and set up the South Cheshire Militaire Show in Crewe which has now in its 32nd year. Please see the Militaire page for more info
